  1. BEAUTIFUL WORK!

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I appreciate the time you took to stop by. May your day be filled with joy and peace.
    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

  2. Such cool work! I really enjoy the fine lines that you are able to get in your cutouts, and the dark themes are nice too. 🙂

I think you might like my best friend Jack Baumgartner’s artwork and puppetry. He has a really great play called “The Two Deaths of John Beartrist Laceroot” which he performs once in a blue moon. Here’s a link to his site and blog and specifically, his puppet theater page.

    • Thanks Mike! And thank you for the link. I’m actually following Jack Baumgartner already, but hadn’t seen his puppetry. It’s incredible – he seems to be a man of so many talents! Thank you for sharing. That’s a very inspiring start to the day:D

      • Oh, that’s good news! Yeah, Jack is truly one in a million. It’s as if he was born in the wrong century because he has all of these skills and interests that not many people are interested in anymore. Last year they planted some acres of wheat, which he harvested by hand with a scythe, dried and ground it down, again by hand, and made stone ground wheat bread all year from it. I could wax on…

I actually see some similarities in the way you two work, particularly in your dedication to seeing the pieces all the way through to completion. Happy art making!

      • Wow!! Jack does sounds genuinely dedicated to learning and applying ancient skills. He seems as equally gifted in painting and drawing as he is in woodwork. A remarkable man indeed.

Oh, I wish I had his dedication – I’d be very happy to master one medium in my lifetime!

Happy art making to you too, Mike, and looking forward to seeing your George Orwell painting when it’s finished.

        Best wishes,

        Rachel
