Winter wedding papercut

I’ve been asked to make a wedding papercut and, since it’s a winter wedding, I thought I’d make a fairytale winter forest “church” for the bride and groom, with branches and roots entwined, and give the bride a snowflake-inspired dress.  The banner, held by two birds, is going to be personalised with their names and the date in hand-lettering.

I’ve mounted the papercut onto cream broderie patterned card with black applique card for the backing.  The papercut can easily be taken out of the corner mounts and framed however the happy couple decide.  So it’s a card and gift in one!

**Update…since writing this post I’ve had some really lovely feedback from the bride and I’m so happy that they’re happy!  It was actually sent to them already framed like this…
